Research
We yet carried out a lot of research on sampling strategies (spatially and in time) and comparisons between conventional monitoring and eDNA monitoring. Research now focusses on possibilities for assessing (relative or even absolute) species densities in water bodies using eDNA techniques. And how eDNA data can be used in indices for the Water Framework Directive.
Collaborative research is being carried out combining the analytical expertise of SPYGEN in genetics and bioinformatics with the thorough knowledge of the ecology and distribution of species of RAVON. Together with other partners in our network we guarantee high quality research with the highest possible expertise.
If you have ideas for research please feel free to contact RAVON to talk about the possibilities.
